<[A Psalm] of David.> Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
(Psa 103:1-5)

These words have always been of great comfort to me, particularly in the last couple years during some difficult times. I remember reading these words when I first was diagnosed with Diabetes. I was self-employed and had no 'benefits'. I remember reading these words - that being one of God's children has wonderful 'benefits': That our iniquities are forgiven, that one day all our diseases and infirmities will be healed, that He is loving and merciful towards us, and that our youth will be restored. We really couldn't ask for any better benefits than those could we? What a great God we serve!
