Hey David,

The prayer in John 17 says
Joh 17:24 Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glorywhich thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

and at the end of the prayer there is a gap of events culminating in his arrival at the garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed him.Joh 18:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where was a garden, into which he entered, himself and his disciples.
Joh 18:2 Now Judas also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus oft-times resorted thither with his disciples.

The transfiguration-if I am not mistaken- happens after the prayer and obviously before the arrival at the garden. Maybe that puts more emphasis on the "glory of the Kingdom" as foreshadowed by the vision.

Is my timeline correct?

Chris
